Community Program Coordinator
Do you:
Want to improve equitable food access for Spanish-speaking Longmont residents?
Enjoy building relationships with community members and volunteers?
Love executing an idea and building a team to make a vision come to life?
Longmont Food Rescue is hiring a Community Program Coordinator to improve food access for our Spanish-speaking communities and grow our volunteer programs. Our mission is to redistribute nutritious food that might otherwise go to waste to feed community members who are experiencing food, housing, or financial insecurity. We work to reduce hunger through free and open food access programs, while simultaneously reducing landfill waste and associated environmental impacts.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.
Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking community members in both spoken and written contexts, and translate between English and Spanish.
Please review the full job description prior to filling out an application.
Compensation: $20 per hour, part-time 20-30 hours/week
Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Note: Research suggests that women and BIPOC individuals may self-select out of opportunities if they donβt meet 100% of the job requirements. We encourage anyone who believes they have the skills and the drive necessary to succeed here to apply for this role.
